Abstract On the whole, US Algorithmic Accountability Act of 2022 (US AAA) is a pragmatic approach to balancing benefits and risks automated decision systems. Yet there still room for improvement. This commentary highlights how AAA can both inform learn from European Artificial Intelligence (EU AIA).
